COURSE DESCRIPTION
Digestive Disease Week (DDW) is the premier learning forum in gastroenterology and hepatology. DDW encompasses over 400 sessions including clinical and research symposia, state-of-the art lectures and research reports covering a wide array of topics presented by a world-renowned faculty. Unfortunately, not all practicing gastroenterologists are able to attend this important meeting. Those who do attend are often unable to readily assess the breadth and depth of new information presented. Our post-DDW course offers attendees the opportunity to gain access to some of the latest research and advances in the field through focused presentations by leading local and national gastroenterologists who provide critical summaries of clinically important topics from DDW. This year's two-day post-DDW meeting will feature controversies, critical reviews and informal discussions of papers presented at the 41st annual Digestive Disease Week meeting held in May 2010 in New Orleans, LA.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

  • Utilize new diagnostic strategies for common GI and liver disorders to better manage patients and improve outcomes
  • Incorporate new therapies into current treatment plans for improved patient care
  • Apply new developments in gastroenterology, hepatology and endoscopy to improve patient treatments

Commercial support is pending and will be acknowledged at the meeting.
